About
An independent software studio
Senternet builds software the way we wish more software were built: small, fast, private, and finished. We run a portfolio of our own products — Premail, Comoji, Burly, StockCar, and the non-profit Bee Ready — and we take on a limited number of consulting engagements for teams who want that same standard applied to their work.
Running our own products keeps us honest. Everything we recommend to clients — architectures, release pipelines, testing habits, privacy posture — is something we live with ourselves, in production, every day.
What we believe
- One job, done well. Every product we ship has a single clear purpose. Scope creep is a bug.
- Privacy is the default. Our apps run locally where possible, skip accounts where possible, and collect as little as possible.
- Native feels better. When software lives on your Mac or iPhone, it should feel like it belongs there.
- Shipping is a habit. Weekly releases beat quarterly plans. Momentum is a feature.
The founder
Senternet was founded by Matt Senter, a software engineer and product builder who has been shipping commercial software for more than two decades. His personal site covers the stories behind the projects.
